Apple is trying to solve the alarm issue with iPhones.

Many consumers have complained that their iPhone alarms are not going off or are playing too softly. Apple is working to resolve this issue. The company acknowledged that it was aware of the problem, which TikTok users have brought to their attention by reporting instances in which their alarms have not gone off.

“This has probably been the third or fourth day in a row that my alarm clock has not gone off,” said one TikTok user.

Although it is unclear what devices are involved or how many individuals have been impacted, Apple stated that it was working fast to fix the issue.

After the alarm issue was initially brought to the attention of NBC's Today show, Apple declined to comment on whether the feature was the cause. When a user is staring at their smartphone, the attention aware feature mutes the alert sound. Additionally, it dims the display when you are staring at your phone until you look away.

Apple's online alarm advice website suggests using the "Sounds & Haptics" function under settings to adjust the alarm loudness. It also states that the "silent mode" and "do not disturb" options have no effect on the alarm sound. Additionally, users are advised to make sure their alarm sound is not changed to "none" on the website.
